Leaving a Lasting Legacy

Services for Churches & Organizations

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.” (Matthew 13:31-32)

Helping Churches Invest

For over fifty years, churches and organizations across Kansas have entrusted the Foundation to care for the management of their long-term funds. Through the guidance of experienced asset managers and the Foundation's Board of Trustees, the Foundation helps provide competitive returns to our account holders while investing in accordance with the Book of Discipline's Social Principles.

The Foundation uses Wespath Institutional Investments as their fund manager and offers a variety of fund options that can be customized to meet your church’s specific needs.

Supporting Churches: Build, Expand, and Renovate

Whether you want to refinance an existing loan, build a new building, renovate an existing facility, or catch up on deferred maintenance projects, through a partnership with the United Methodist Development Fund, UMDF, the Foundation can support you with a loan. Loans through the Foundation/UMDF were created to make low-cost, competitive financing available to qualifying United Methodist Churches in the Great Plains Conference, as well as other United Methodist ministries and organizations throughout Kansas and Nebraska.

Since 1996, the Foundation's staff has helped 98 qualified borrowers with loans totaling $20,005,512.73. But the Foundation lends more than money: we lend you our support, our counsel and our expertise. We will provide you information so that you may develop a realistic plan for a project without compromising your existing ministries. Your loan needs will be managed with integrity, efficiency and commitment by experienced staff who work with only United Methodist Churches and related organizations.
