How often should I review my estate plan? These questions and more will be answered by John Griffin, an estate planning attorney with Stewardship Counseling. John will explain the estate planning process and how to avoid common mistakes.

Investor Forum with Wespath

The Foundation will be hosting an Investor Forum with Wespath Institutional Investments on Tuesday, February 9 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. via Zoom. The presenters for the forum include Dave Zellner, Wespath Chief Investment Officer, and Karen Manczko, Wespath Director of Institutional Relationships.

Whether your church/organization currently invests with the Foundation, is considering investing with the Foundation, or is just interested in information on sustainable investing for the long-term, this forum is for you!

December Investment Summary

The Foundation’s investments exceeded expectations through 2020, even with the large pandemic recession! The Balanced Fund had an annualized return of 19.45% net of investment fees as of 12/31/2020, exceeding its benchmark by just over 5%. Remember that markets go up and down in the short-term, so having the longer-term perspective is vital. Please find more information regarding our investment at www.kaumf.org/investments.

Although our staff are continuing to work remotely, a staff member will be available via phone from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. The staff will continue to be available via email from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and the office remains closed to visitors.

12 Month term - 0.50%
24 Month term - 0.75%

(Rate effective as of December 1, 2020. Rates subject to change. Interest Rates for the Certificate of Participation Investment are reviewed on a monthly basis and as needed.)

Certificates of Participation are offered to churches, organizations, and individuals throughout Kansas and Nebraska to help support the Church and Ministry Loan Fund. Church and Ministry Loans are available to churches and ministries throughout the Great Plains Conference.
