This year the Foundation is honored to support 17 churches and organizations in Kansas through a Pathways for Discipleship Grant. These grants are only possible by the generous support from our donors through legacy gifts and annual gifts. Thank you to the many families who make the grant ministry possible!

October Learn & Grow Seminar - CARES Act and Maximizing Charitable Giving in 2020

This past year has brought about many changes in our routine and it is no different for charitable giving.

On October 20, the Kansas Area United Methodist Foundation will offer a Learn & Grow Seminar on “Understanding the CARES Act and Charitable Giving in 2020”. The seminar will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. via Zoom. During the seminar, Roger Field, a local CPA, will share about the CARES Act and the uniqueness of charitable giving in 2020. Support an Endowment Fund on Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, December 1, we invite you to prayerfully consider giving to an endowment fund. Through giving to an endowment, you will make a difference not only today, but for future generations. 

The Foundation manages endowment funds on behalf of churches, camps, and other organizations. In addition, endowment funds are created to support various areas of ministry, such as Pathways for Discipleship Grants, Seminary Scholarships, and more.

September Investment Summary

The Foundation’s investments continue to outperform benchmarks, even though September was down. Markets go up and down in the short-term, so having the longer-term perspective is vital.
