Throughout their marriage, Rev. Lance and Kristi Carrithers discussed the need to create an estate plan, but were anxious about the cost. The Foundation released the investment summary for first quarter. The rapid escalation of the COVID-19 virus into a global pandemic drove U.S. equity markets to record high volatility levels, as measured by the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX). The VIX hit an all-time high of 82.7 on March 16, which was just above its peak during the 2008 financial crisis.
