Seminary Scholarship Fund

The establishment of the Kansas Area United Methodist Foundation Seminary Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarships for ministerial students who are attending a theological school and working towards ordination in the Great Plains Conference of the United Methodist Church. The Kansas Area United Methodist Foundation and the Board of Ordained Ministry of the Great Plains Conference of the United Methodist Church seek to offer financial support through the Great Plains Ministerial Education Fund. The Kansas Area United Methodist Foundation Seminary Scholarship Fund aids this seminary scholarship program of the Great Plains Conference of the United Methodist Church that receives funds through the Ministerial Education Fund as provided for in ¶816.1 of the 2016 Book of Discipline. As funds are limited, there is no guarantee that any student will receive financial support.
